Food was lovely and on point. Pics below of a large curried chicken, portion of fried chicken, jerk chicken and coleslaw. Also ordered mac n cheese which was banging, and my Husband had Jerk chicken & fried dumplings which he really enjoyed. Forgot to take pics of the rest. Good portion sizes. Very Happy, would return. Please Note: cash only and collection only they don't deliver at the moment.

Absolutely amazing! Ashakka Caribbean Takeaway is a true gem. The Chef, Ashakka, was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel warm and personal. As someone who knows proper Caribbean food, I can honestly say this place brings the real Caribbean flavor straight to the UK. The rice and peas, callaloo, and plantain were cooked to perfection and tasted incredible—full of rich, authentic flavor. It’s the kind of food that really takes you mentally back to the Caribbean. The best Caribbean food I’ve had in the local area! Everything is packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. Tastes like real home cooked food. The portions are great and the service from the owner is 10/10. You can tell he really cares about his customers. Definitely mine and my partners new go-to takeaway! 🔥
